Who you’ll be
working with
Fiona Gladstone
Therapy is a personal journey, a space to show up freely as ourselves and express the thoughts and feelings we often keep bottled up. It’s a space where you can slow down, understand yourself better, be with your experiences, and make meaning that facilitates change.
As a psychologist, I am here to support you on this journey. My approach is humanistic and is driven by trauma-informed care, which aims to honour unique life histories while tailoring therapy to meet individual needs. I largely incorporate Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy with my clients, depending on their concerns and goals from therapy.
I specialise in working with adults who experience anxiety, mood-related concerns, trauma, loneliness, interpersonal and relationship difficulties and issues related to confidence, body image and self-esteem.
I believe each of us is the best expert on our own experiences. Together, we can explore your concerns with curiosity, compassion, and understanding to open up possibilities for change. My goal is to hold a space for every part of you to feel seen and supported, and to help you accept every aspect of yourself that makes you uniquely you.
Akhila Mahesh
Hi! I’m Akhila, a trauma-informed and queer-affirmative therapist based in Mumbai, India. I specialize in working with individuals who grew up feeling unseen, overly responsible, or emotionally unsafe- and who now find themselves stuck in repeating patterns: shutting down during conflict, over-giving in relationships, constantly seeking reassurance, or battling an inner critic that never seems to quiet down. If you replay conversations in your head long after they end, and feel “too much” in some moments and emotionally numb in others- together, we can work toward helping you feel less stuck in these patterns and more able to respond to life with clarity, steadiness, and self-trust.
My approach integrates humanistic, relational, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic, art-based, and trauma-informed practices. I work from the belief that no part of you is an enemy, but a voice waiting to be heard and comforted.
If part of you wants support and another part feels hesitant, both are welcome. You don’t need clarity or the “right words” before starting therapy. Even reaching out with uncertainty is enough- we can begin there. You can book a free consultation call to explore what’s bringing you here and how I can support you.
